Rock-ola 484 don’t pick up record

Pour le 9,6v c’est bien.
Pour le 32,7 pour 32v je me marre...
ta panne ne vient pas de la, pas pour 0,7v
Tu as déjà toutes les cartes en mains...
soit tu as un point dur, soit un de tes 2 moteurs pose problème. (Manipulation expliquée plus haut)

I have unmount and clean and reput the grease on both the motor , test with the filter motor cutted, then resoldered...
But at the end, was the latch rele 24v in the power pc board in the rear of the jukebox that wasn’t insert well, i have cleaned it with contact cleaner spray an then i have reinsert it carefully
From then, the jukebox is ok.

Who knows a link where i can buy 1 latching rele online?


Now there is only one problem to solve:
There is only one audio channel, and this is for me a mystery...
I have bought also a new cartridge M44-7, made another cable, but is always the same, only 1 channel.
Hy have replace the 2 integrated of the preamb board with 2 NE5532, but nothing... always only 1 audio channel
If i turn the pick up plug on the ampli, changes the channel inthe speakers, but always only 1 channel...
In mono is all ok..

What can be?

This is the last problem for now, then i have repaired, with your precious help, my beautiful jubox!!!

Mais bon ta panne ne vient probablement pas de la... tu brasses de l’air.
Remonte déjà le jukebox, une fois fonctionnel, tu pourras approfondir la panne d’ampli

The jukebox now IS WORKING in all of its parts.

The ONLY problem is the sound in stereo mode that is only on 1 channel, if i put on mono, it’s all right.

- The old cartridge (M44MR) and the new cartridge (M44-7)has 4 pin L R LG RG (Left - Right - Left ground - Right ground)
In the Rock-ola 484 the 2 ground are joined together so arrive 3 pin in the amplifier L - G - R
In stereo mode i hear only the right speaker
If i insert the plug in reverse mode R - G - L i hear only the left speaker
If i insert only the plug L - G i hear only noise
If i insert only the plug G - R i hear only the right speaker
If i insert reverse only the plug G - L i hear only noise
If i insert reverse only the plug R - G i hear only the left speaker
Naturally the G is always in the center plug of the amplifier.
I have replace the 2 integrated on the pre amp board with 2 NE5532
I have made a new 4 pin cable for the test

I fought the same thing, so (as i have just written in the last post) yesterday i have bought a new cartridge, The M44-7 (that Shure says is the substitute of the M44MR) but is the same thing.
I also made a new 4 pin cable to connect the cartridge to the amplifier because I thought that the original cable was broken, but always the same.

I don’t know what i have to think about...

P.s. in my manual (service manual and part catalog) there aren’t the schema that you have posted. Where i can found the electric schema of Rock-ola 484, please?

faut mesurer la résistance sur J1 de l'amplificateur côté câblage si la shure est branchée on doit trouver 2 résistances , une de chaque côté du point central

Thin afternoon i check it with the multimeter on ohm scale switched on 200.
I have to check it while the record play or in standby?

On J1 plug inside the amplifier i see also a capacitor connected to the common channels ground to the chassis.

juke box arrêté faut pas mesurer côté amplifier, mais du côté allant à la tête et pas branché sur l'ampli mais cellule en place
calibre 200 ou 2000 Ohms

After a recheck of all components, unmount the amplifier and reclean all components, remount original cable (clean and checked) the new M44-7, the resistance on both the channels are 0,66 test with my multimeter on scale 20k ohm.

Test the jubox and...

EUREKA!!!!

Now my Rock-ola works great in all parts.

I have restored my jukebox!
